Eurydice Rice, DVM

Dr. Eury Rice is originally from the Boston area, and spent her childhood summers in the mountains of Colorado. 

She obtained her BA in Environmental Studies and Ecological Design from Oberlin College. Her aspiration at the time was to become an architect, but realized that her true calling was to be a vet. She returned to Colorado to pursue her veterinary career, receiving first her BS in biology from MSU Denver and then her DVM from Colorado State University. 

Dr. Eury and her partner share a house with two dogs, two cats, fish in three freshwater aquariums, and a jungle of plants. 

As a parent to an anxious, special needs dog, animal behavior and a fear-free approach are incredibly important to her, professionally and personally. Dr. Eury’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is the human-animal bond and working with owners as a team to provide the best care for pets.
