Christine Pugh, DVM

Dr. Christine Pugh grew up on a small hobby farm in Erie, CO where she rehabilitated rescue horses, cats, and dogs. Through her father’s occupation as a veterinary radiologist in the northern Denver metropolitan area, it was not uncommon that unwanted animals with chronic illnesses were brought home to join the family. She earned her B.A. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2012, and then went on to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University in 2017. She worked at a small animal practice for 2 years in Aroura after she graduated where she saw both general practice and emergency cases. Her passions in veterinary medicine are surgery, radiology, and pain management.

She lives with her husband, Brandon, her German shepherd dog, Dexter, and a little stripy cat named Noodle. She enjoys road cycling, mountain biking, horseback riding, DJing, and creating anything artistic.
